Colon Hydrotherapy

What is colon hydrotherapy?

Also known as colonic irrigation, this practice was reputedly used in Ancient Egypt, China and India. However, the method common in the West today has its origins in 19th century European spas. The irrigation of the large bowel using water removes unwanted bowel contents. The whole process takes between 30-45 minutes, is painless and odour-free.

How colon hydrotherapy helps?

The treatment removes unwanted bowel contents including various waste products that may have been deposited in the bowel for a long time. Such cleansing of the bowel also rids you of possible pathogenic bacteria or parasites that may hamper proper digestion and the natural removal of waste products.
