Chloride-bicarbonate, calcium, hypotonic medicinal mineral water with the most effective component of active sulfur, which is contained in the form of free and bound hydrogen sulfide. Due to its exceptionally high hydrogen sulfide content (680 mg per liter) and total mineral content of 3400 mg per liter, the mineral water in Smrdáky is considered the most concentrated sulfur water in Slovakia and Central Europe. Thanks to its sulfur content, it has an anti-inflammatory effect, reduces itching and pain, and improves blood circulation in the skin. The goal of treatment is to heal skin symptoms and achieve long-term remission, i.e., a period without symptoms of the disease.

Unique natural healing sulfur mud is created by hydrogen sulfide mineral water flowing through loess soil. It matures for one year layered with natural healing water. Later, it is saturated with smelly mineral water and heated to a temperature of 45°C. Outside in the pool, it has a natural temperature. It is unique, especially in the treatment of the musculoskeletal system. It has a special consistency that allows for thermal durability, cools four times slower than water, and warms deep body structures.
