Besides being the largest and most luxurious historical hotel in Marienbad, the “Nové Lázně” is also famous for its impressive cultural space with Italian Neo-Renaissance style – the Casino. It was built in 1899 – 1901 for the unique social events and gatherings, often with royal flair of the times. In 1946, the First International Film Festival, currently known as Karlovy Vary Film Festival, was organised here. 

Today, the Casino is an exquisite venue for all kinds of happenings. Its amazing acoustics are perfect for concerts and musical events. Guests adore the performances of well-known instrumentalists, namely the West Bohemian Symphonic Orchestra, the oldest symphony orchestra in all of the Czech Republic. The Casino is also delighted to host the annual Chopin Festival with its opening and final concerts, welcoming top conductors and musicians from all around the world.

The breath-taking architecture and elegant decor of the Casino create the perfect setting for graduation ceremonies, fashion shows, conferences and corporate events The three larger halls of the Casino - Marble Hall, Mirror Hall and Red Hall – can accommodate between 180 and 450 guests and are ideal for exhibitions, larger conferences and meetings, as well as for hosting romantic wedding receptions. The three smaller venues – Pink Hall and the two Gallery rooms – have space for up to 150 guests and are ideally suited for banquets or theatre-style presentations. 

Are you looking for a more intimate space for a smaller gathering? The cosy Edward Library, a luxurious multi-functional room in the hotel would make an excellent choice!
