My room didn't had an AC and it was +35 outside, It was nearly impossible to be at the room during the day time. Also - my procedures were starting at 7am, and I wanted to get a coffe form my hotel restaurant, but I wasn't allowed to go inside in a robe - just for a breakfast I think it would be ok to let people inside to get coffe before the procedures start.
