Balnea Health Spa

Completely renovated and expanded in 2014, Balnea Health Spa is today the most advanced and largest balneotherapy and rehabilitation centre in Central Europe and the best spa facility in Slovakia.

The immense   7,000 m² structure is directly connected to the Esplanade Health Spa Hotel and the Splendid Health Spa Hotel. There is a modern medical reception area to welcome you in, along with over a dozen medical and therapeutic treatment rooms.  Overall, the complex is made up of 3 pavilions with various thermal and therapeutic pools, a full-service beauty salon, an accommodating modern fitness centre complete with the latest workout gear and a rehabilitation centre with state-of-the-art equipment.  We also  have an occupational therapy centre, which utilises a simulated kitchen and  car, among other equipment, in order to train patients who have experienced physical trauma on how to regain their normal daily life functionality under our meticulous medical supervision

In addition to this impressive infrastructure, Balnea offers medical services at the highest level, specialising in the treatment of rheumatism and other musculoskeletal disorders. This quality is ensured by the vast experience of the medical and therapeutic team with over 1 million successful treatments each year.

The Esplanade Health Spa Hotel also offers space for wellness and relaxation. The hotel has its own pool and spa area with indoor and outdoor pools and a sauna world with a Finnish sauna, infrared sauna and steam bath.
